Inspired by the audacity of the Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron, the W16 Study brings the language of a hypercar into a world measured in millimetres.

Behind the sweeping hands, sixteen pistons rise and fall. A tourbillon turns. Light travels through sapphire and across polished titanium. Every part has a purpose. Every angle has a story.

A hypercar for the wrist.

Four banks. Sixteen pistons. One shared crankshaft. The slider-crank geometry converts rotation into a perfectly choreographed mechanical performance.

Watch a second happen.

A coiled hairspring breathes around the balance. Five escapement releases mark each second, while the cage makes one complete revolution every minute.

BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE

An honest look inside.

This is a procedural artistic interpretation, not a replica or a manufacturing model. The gear train and watch hands follow the device clock analytically; the escapement is a kinematic illustration rather than a force-integrated contact simulation.

The 80/10 × 75/10 train yields a 60:1 speed ratio. The balance oscillates at 2.5 Hz, and the escapement releases five times per second. The W16 automaton is separately animated and can be paused without stopping the watch.

The engine uses sixteen slider-crank motions. Geometry, metal microstructure, studio reflections, and all close-up images are generated locally. Sapphire is rendered with an index of refraction of 1.76. Assembly separation is an educational presentation, not a service procedure.
